  • Great question! This one is tricky.

According to the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP®) there is no such thing as an accreditation or approval process for Pilates Training Programs.

There are however a set of guidelines and standards set forth by the International Teacher Training Approval Program (ITTAP®). Check out those guidelines here: https://static1.squarespace.com/static/66736cd7aee83a7a69697864/t/673fb151128826230c1dc178/1732227409716/Curriculum+Compliance+Comparison+to+ITTAP.pdf

As long as the program meets or exceeds the standards set by the ITTAP® it is acknowledged by the NPCP®.

  • Generally, 6 months to 1 year depending on the students level of commitment to completing the necessary pre and post lecture training requirements.

  • Master Educator Training Highlights

The journey to becoming a Master Educator involves two key phases:

    1. Digital Coursework: You'll begin with a series of digital courses specifically designed to familiarize you with The Pilates Team curriculum.

    2. Comprehensive Teacher Training Program: Following the digital courses, you'll complete a comprehensive teacher training program with the support of a founder or a master trainer from The Pilates Team.

Upon successful completion of the digital courses, a founder or master trainer will provide ongoing support during your initial Teacher Training Program. This mentorship aims to help new Master Educators achieve independence as Elite Master Educators with The Pilates Team.
